Mieloo & Alexander was founded in 2000 by the two partners of the firm: Ir. Joseph P. Owusu and Drs. Sander Merkx. Prior to founding the firm both partners had a successful career in management consulting.
Ir. Joseph P. Owusu
After graduating at the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at the Delft University of Technology he founded a firm specialising in Interpersonal Management Skills.
In 1995 he joined an international management consulting firm, working for large multinational companies in the industry segments: industrial manufacturing and maintenance & service, on business process redesign and IT implementation projects.
He gained extensive knowledge and experience in business- and technology consulting and in program/project- and change management of large scale and complex implementation projects.
In 2000 he left the firm as a member of the management team, and founded Mieloo & Alexander - Business Integrators together with Drs. Sander Merkx.
Drs. Sander Merkx
Drs. Sander Merkx studied Business Economics at the University of Tilburg (KUB) before starting his professional career as a management trainee at Hoechst Holland, a subsidiary of the German multinational chemical company. He worked in various areas for several group companies in The Netherlands and Germany.
He subsequently joined an international management consulting firm in 1995. He worked for large scale consumer and technical product companies on business process redesign and IT implementation projects.
In 2000 he left the firm as a director, then responsible for large European accounts, as well as for the practice group Project- and Change Management.
In 2000 he left the management team of this firm and founded Mieloo & Alexander together with Ir. Joseph P. Owusu.
