Mieloo & Alexander have established a project methodology for rapid business- and technical assessment, design, development and delivery. Our approach is the result of a vast experience with many of the world's leading corporations, and will continue to evolve to reflect new developments in the business and technology marketplace, enabling us to provide high quality service to our clients.

How does it work?
- In our project methodology, projects are segmented in 5 distinctive project phases: Assessment, Design, Build, Implement and Support.
- Throughout each project phase we distinguish 6 project- and client streams: project- and change management, business process, organisation, system, infrastructure and quality assurance.
- The (project) streams project- and change management and quality assurance are related directly to way we manage our projects.
- The client streams: business process, organisation, system and infrastructure are related to the client and describe the way the client is organised.
- In each project phase we further have various service packages, related to a specific project- and client stream, the service packages are also made up of work packages and deliverables.
Assessment
The engagement process typically starts with an Assessment, during which business- and technical feasibility of a solution is verified. During this Assessment a review will be performed of the business strategy and objectives and the existing processes, organisation, systems and infrastructure. In various workshops and after multiple engagements with the client business organisation the scope of a new and improved process will be determined. In addition, the business case is determined, stakeholder groups are identified, a technical feasibility test is performed and the project is planned in terms of activities, required resources, effort and lead time.
Design
In the Design phase a blueprint will be developed of the new solution. This design blueprint will describe the solution in terms of business processes, organisation, application systems and the required infrastructure. During the Design phase the change management approach will be determined. As the scope will be finalised after Design it is essential to conduct a formal acceptance procedure and obtain sign-off for the Design.
Build
In the Build phase a solution prototype will be developed in terms of application system and required technical infrastructure. The required enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions are specified in detail. The subsequent test, conversion and support approach is finalised.
Implement
In the Implement phase the solution is further deployed. The configuration of applications and the technical infrastructure is finalised, the enhancements, reports, interfaces and conversions are build. For applications with legacy data, cut-over begins with the execution of a carefully rehearsed data conversion process. Before go-live extensive integration testing is performed.
Post Go Live Support
During Post Go Live a team of Mieloo & Alexander professionals will support the client’s supply chain and technology departments and hand over the solution to the responsible organisation for daily and ongoing operations. Mieloo & Alexander also offer support services to client who opt for outsourced support services.
